About the Event

Most Codex sessions show you features: how to generate code, fix a bug, write tests, or use an agent. We are going to do something different. In this masterclass, we will start with a product idea and build it live, working through requirements, decisions, architecture, implementation, testing, debugging, and everything else that inevitably happens when software meets reality.

The objective is not to learn a collection of Codex tricks. It is to explore a much bigger question: what does software development look like when writing code is no longer the bottleneck? You will see where Codex can take ownership, where human judgment still matters enormously, and how the two work together across the full software development process.

You will also see how one person can increasingly operate across responsibilities that traditionally required an entire software team. Come with questions, and perhaps a little healthy skepticism.

Amit Verma

Founder, Xaltris Technologies • Fractional CTO & Hands-on Product Engineer

Amit Verma is the founder of Xaltris Technologies, a one-person AI-assisted software boutique where he works with founders and businesses as a Fractional CTO and full-cycle product engineer.

He has more than two decades of experience in software engineering, product development and technology leadership. Before starting Xaltris, Amit spent over a decade at Capita, ultimately leading engineering and product initiatives involving enterprise software, cloud transformation, workflow automation, microservices, DevOps and distributed engineering teams. Earlier in his career, he worked on enterprise platforms and large-scale technology programs across organizations including Cordys and BNY Mellon.

Amit is an engineering graduate from NIT Warangal and an MBA from IIM Calcutta.

His current work explores how AI changes the economics and practice of software development. At Xaltris, he uses tools such as Codex as part of the actual engineering workflow—not simply for code generation, but across requirements analysis, architecture, implementation, testing, debugging, code review and deployment. His focus is on combining the execution speed of AI with the judgment, engineering discipline and end-to-end ownership needed to build reliable software.
